As the halfway point of the 2020–21 NFL season has passed there are many stories which continue to unfold all around the league. From Antonio Brown’s first start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers since his one game tenure with the New England Patriots in September of last year to arguably the worst game in Tom Brady’s twenty- year career, a lot has unfolded as sports media creates its “Winners and Losers of Week 9” list. Former Pittsburgh Steeler, Ryan Shazier openly warned the Bucs earlier this week of former teammate Antonio Brown’s “attention hungry personality”. And on a completely unrelated note somehow the 3–4–1 Philadelphia Eagles lead perhaps the worst division in football currently. And so, as sports media finalizes its “Winners and Losers of Week 9” list. Perhaps it may be said that there are no winners or losers, indeed it is unfair to develop a list which bases its winners and losers off of a single week of play. And so, Dear sports media, is it truly fair to equate a single week of play to a list with no possibility for neutrality?
